Being a newcomer is like going to someone else’s family reunion. Everybody knows each other, has histories and common experiences. This is why we want every guest to feel at home here at New Point Church.

Our children are a top priority at New Point Church! This is why we strive to always provide a happy, clean, and safe environment. There is age specific programming for children on Sunday morning and during Family Night on Wednesday evenings.
We utilize energizing music, fun games and interactive curriculum to help our children learn about God’s love for them and who they are in Christ. This allows our parents and guardians to enter into worship, Bible study, fellowship, and other ministry opportunities.
If you desire to serve our families and help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus, this may be the perfect spot for you!
The years of Junior High and High School are paramount times during which students find themselves searching far and wide for their place in the world.
If you can relate to that struggle (or even if you can’t) and want to play a pivotal role in helping them discover an identity rooted and established in Jesus, let us know.
We’d love to hear your heart and see if we might be able to get you plugged in!

Jesus prioritized time in prayer with his Father. This was the source of his power, teaching, confidence and vision. He called the church to prayer before his ascension, and prayer was one of the defining features of the early church (Acts 2:42-47).
Paul likewise called the church to worship and prayer and saw it as the foundation of his ministry. (see Ephesians 6:18-20, Colossians 4:2, and 1 Timothy 2:1).
As we look through church history, we see that the church was at its best, and God his most glorious, when his people sought him in humble, desperate, and passionate prayer. This is what we want to see in our day and in our church.
Ways to get involved with the Prayer Team:
- Pray before Sunday morning service
- Prayer with people following the Sunday service
- Attend a Prayer Training

NEW POINT PANTRY
Our mission is to help lighten the burden of food insecurity in our community. It is our intention that they receive not only food each week for their physical hunger, but kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional needs.
We believe the words of Jesus that this is one way we can respond directly to God’s love for us: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” – Matthew 25:35
Each week we need a team of people to volunteer to help make our food distribution possible. If you would like to join this team, you can sign up below.
This team helps to create a clean and welcoming environment. The cleaning team meets on Saturdays to clean the facility before church on Sunday mornings.
As we prepare for the weekend service, the cleaning team will help clean the auditorium, lobby, bathrooms and kitchen.
