LIFE GROUPS

Life groups are a key aspect of our church community.

Most life groups meet either weekly or twice a month at the church or in someone’s home (oftentimes, the group leader’s home.) There is time for fellowship, studying God’s word, discussing the current sermon series, and enjoying a meal together. If you are looking for a life group, please let us know!

MEN’S MINISTRY

This is your opportunity to grow as a man of God and to get to know other men at New Point.

There is a bible study that meets on Wednesday mornings at New Point Church from 6:00-7:00 a.m and also 6:30-7:30pm. Session dates may vary. Please contact Jeff Mease at measej@hotmail.com for more information.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

This is your opportunity to grow as a woman of God and get to know other women at New Point.

Our women’s ministry at New Point includes a weekly bible study, an annual event held in the Spring and a retreat held in the Fall.

All of these are great opportunities to connect with other women and to strengthen your faith.

STUDENTS

Our focus is raising up young adults who are fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our student ministry meets at the church on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:00-7:45PM. A free meal is served from 6:00-6:20PM with programming to follow.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, students will experience; Biblical instruction, prayer, worship, discussion, and a time of silence/reflection.

The focus of each evening, and our ministry as a whole, is two-fold:

#1- That students would “Take Jesus Seriously”

#2- That students would learn “To be, rather than to seem”

Although the content is tailored to be age specific, we refuse to lower the bar of expectation. We believe these years are crucial in the development of a resilient faith and we treat each session and interaction accordingly. The reality is that we don’t get as much time with these students as we’d like, so we do our best to make it count!

Our core conviction is that these students are intended to be in a deep relationship with the Triune God and we are committed to showing them both how beautiful and how all-consuming that relationship can and should be!

POWER HOUSE KIDZ

This high-energy program focuses on leading kids to become fully devoted followers of Christ. PowerHouse Kidz meets weekly throughout the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:45PM. This programming is for kids in grades KDG through 5th grade. A free meal is served from 6:00-6:30PM with programming to follow.

We learn bible verses and stories and apply them through games, drama, video lessons and arts/crafts.

It’s kind of like a mini-VBS every week!

Our leaders and volunteers desire to serve your family and help your kids grow in their relationship with Jesus.
