where God is easy to find
THE PRIORITY OF LOVE | THE BEHAVIOR OF BELIEF
Lead Pastor, Jordan Lumbard, continues in the series talking about how we have diluted the meaning of the word love as most things we call love aren’t love at all and how the defining feature of God’s love is that it is others focused.

WHAT IS NEW POINT?
A JESUS-CENTERED COMMUNITY
We believe that TOGETHER is God’s plan for us. In fact, you’ll never get the best out of any relationship until you make a commitment to it. You were never meant to walk this spiritual journey alone. All throughout the New Testament we find that Christian community is a big deal and designed to help us grow. This is why we are so committed to creating a Jesus-centered community that is built around relationships!
THAT IS DRIVEN BY ETERNITY
Contrary to popular belief, you do not only live once. You actually live twice! The reality of eternity fuels our conviction that there is more to life than this life. Seeing everything through this lens is what enables us to give generously every year to help those who are lost, hurting, and broken.
AND HUNGRY FOR REVIVAL
We want more than to just sing some songs and hear sermons each week. We are hungry to see God move in our lives and in our city! We are driven to see God awaken people to the reality of who He is. This clear mission has caused us to intentionally depart from complacent, apathetic, and boring Christianity.
WHERE GOD IS EASY TO FIND
On any given week, many people come to church with a distorted image of God that has been shaped by a bad experience or a misunderstanding. A huge part of our passion, as a church, is to help frame an accurate image of who God really is. Our mission at New Point is to create a church where God is easy to find. We do this by showing everyone we meet that they are welcome here and that they are being relentlessly pursued by a loving God.
